The Sharp PG-LW3000 has a maximum resolution of WXGA (1280x800). That's 30% more resolution than a XGA (1024x768) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution. Across all 12000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the PG-LW3000 the worst resolution is XGA (1024x768) and the best is WUXGA (1920x1200).
We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors that have a resolution of WXGA (1280x800) and we think a higher scoring product such as the AAXA Technologies LED Showtime 3D, and the Epson PowerLite 935W are also worth considering.
If the resolution of this data projector is too low for you then you might want to consider the Panasonic PT-DZ680 (WUXGA (1920x1200 and higher rated),WSVGA (1024x576 and higher rated) and higher rated), the NEC NP-PA500 (XGA (1024x768 and higher rated),WUXGA (1920x1200 and higher rated) and higher rated), or the Sony VPLFH36/W (£3,690.52) (WUXGA (1920x1200 and higher rated) and higher rated).
