2 Reasons For

Viewsonic Data Projectors Have Excellent Reviews

Based on 583 user and expert reviews, Viewsonic has excellent ratings for its multimedia projectors. Viewsonic also has excellent ratings specifically within its 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors range.

Has a Built-In Speaker(s)

The PJD5453 has a built-in speaker(s). Most of the other data projectors of this age and spec also have a built-in speaker(s).

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other projectors with a built-in speaker(s) currently available including a cheaper multimedia projector such as the Optoma W307[plb_1727438_price] or you might consider a higher scoring multimedia projector such as the Epson EH-TW570[plb_2577305_price].

We think you might also be interested in other multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker(s) including the Infocus IN2126A[plb_2194106_price].

4 Reasons Against

Does Not Support 3D

Most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a comparable age to the PJD5453 support 3D, however the Viewsonic PJD5453 does not support 3D.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a 3D and we think the Epson EH-TW570[plb_2577305_price]; or the Optoma W307[plb_1727438_price], or the Epson EB-W28[plb_2441061_price] are also worth considering.

Does Not Support Full HD

Like most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for a similar time to the PJD5453, the Viewsonic PJD5453 does not support full HD.

Alternative multimedia projectors which also support full HD that you might want to look at include the Viewsonic PJD6683WS[plb_1514463_price], or the Infocus IN118HD[plb_2457022_price] which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

The PJD5453 does not support wi-Fi, although it is worth noting that most of the other data projectors of this age and spec also do not support wi-Fi.

We think you might also be interested in alternative multimedia projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Optoma EX400[plb_2110318_price].

Very Dim Projector Brightness

The Viewsonic PJD5453 has one of the dimmer projector brightnesss (only 2,400 ANSI lumens) amongst data projectors of this age. The projector brightnesss of projectors of this spec and age range from 700 ANSI lumens to 11,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 4,200 ANSI lumens.

If you would prefer a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to consider the PJD6383S[pl_1514462_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the PJD6683WS[pl_1514463_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens and higher rated) both from Viewsonic; or the Epson EB-W28[plb_2441061_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens and cheaper).
