Some people who reviewed it wrote that it was good value for money. Expert review site Hardwaresecrets.com said in their Acer Iconia Tab B1 review “Due to its low cost”. Three years ago expert review site Techradar.com wrote in their Acer Iconia Tab B1 review “In addition to the update to the Iconia A1, Acer is also updating the super affordable Iconia B1, with the Iconia B1-720 Wi-Fi version”. Techradar.com also mentioned “Both are already available at price points of €129 Euros”.

A few Acer Iconia Tab B1 owners who bought it concluded that it was cheap. Expert website Digitaltrends.com said “If you're looking for a low-priced Android tablet that's comfortable to hold” . Two years ago Notebookcheck.net said “Acer's Iconia One 8 tablet is inexpensive, handy and is shipped with Android 5” in their review of the Acer Iconia Tab B1.
