Some Archos 97 reviewers who reviewed it wrote that it was good looking. Matt he wrote two years ago “Display pretty good.” in his review of this tablet. Four years ago Soundasleeper wrote on Amazon “This arrived yesterday so I'm still getting to grips with some aspects of it, however so far I have to say I'm pretty impressed”. Soundasleeper also wrote “The screen is pretty amazing, bright, sharp”.

One Archos 97 owner who bought the product reckoned that it was ergonomic. Daphne said on Amazon “An ergonomic mistake” in her Archos 97 review. A number of people concluded that this tablet was well made. Three years ago Mr. S. Dixon wrote “Beautiful build quality.” in their review of this tablet but in spite of that they only gave it a score of 2 stars. Pen Name mentioned in their review of the Archos 97 “Personally if your looking at a tablet go for a nexus since they have exceptional build quality and amazing performance” but they scored it 40 out of 100. Four years ago Soundasleeper wrote “Overall the tablet has a satisfyingly solid feel and the buttons etc seem fine” in their Archos 97 review.
