Evogadget.com said five years ago “The manufacturer got a more affordable price and also improved the gadget's operating system” in their Blackberry Playbook review. A few Blackberry Playbook owners who reviewed the product reckoned that it was a bargain for the price. The processor frequencys of tablets of a similar age and type to the Playbook range from 1GHz to 2.3GHz. The processor frequency of the Playbook of only 1 gigahertz is one of the slowest amongst tablet computers that are a comparable age to the Playbook.

If this tablet computer processor frequency is too slow for you then you might also want to look at the Amazon Kindle Fire HD (£64.97) (1.5GHz), or the Samsung GT-N8000 Galaxy Note (2.3GHz) which also has a higher rating.

Compared to the other 210 tablet computers that have been around for more than two years that we have assessed the number of processor coress of, the Playbook has two processor coress which is average.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative 2 processor cores tablets currently available including because of it's better review score, the Barnes & Noble NOOK HD (£159.95).

If this Blackberry tablet has too few processor coress then you might also want to look at the Samsung GT-N8000 Galaxy Note (4 processor coress) which also has a higher rating.
