One person who reviewed the Ematic Genesis Prime concluded that it was a bargain for the price. Gadling.com mentioned in their Ematic Genesis Prime review “Cheap design”. One Ematic Genesis Prime owner concluded that it was cheap. Poor Battery Life

One Ematic Genesis Prime owner who reviewed it concluded that it did not have a good battery life. Gadling.com wrote “Awful battery life” in their review.

Very Small Internal Storage Capacity

The Genesis Prime has one of the smaller internal storage capacitys (only 4 gigabytes) amongst comparable spec tablet computers of this age. The average internal storage capacity of tablet computers of this age and spec is 18GB, and the internal storage capacitys range from 0.25GB to 260GB.

We compared this tablet computer to all the other 4GB internal storage capacity tablets and we think because of it's better review score, the Motorola ET1[plb_1805693_price], the Denver TAC-70111[plb_1667957_price], and the Archos 97[plb_1798985_price] is also worth considering.

If this tablet computer internal storage capacity is not large enough for you then you might want to look at the Storex eZee Tab 785[plb_1992022_price] (8GB), the Billow X700[plb_2531943_price] (8GB), or the Wolder MasterChef[plb_2596975_price] (8GB) which is also higher rated.

The Ematic Genesis Prime is not 3G, although keep in mind that most of the other tablets that came out more than two years ago are also not 3G.

If you want a tablet computer that is 3G then you might want to look at the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0[pl_3256485_price], the GT-N8000 Galaxy Note[pl_2668414_price], or the SM-T700 Galaxy Tab S[pl_2379849_price] all from Samsung which is also higher rated.

Not 4G

The Genesis Prime is not 4G, although this is within the context that most of the other tablets that were released more than two years ago are also not 4G.

Tablet computers which are 4G that might be worth looking at include the SM-T311 Galaxy Tab 3[pl_1955439_price], the SM-T9000 Galaxy Tab Pro[pl_2130444_price], or the SM-T237 Galaxy Tab 4[pl_2984979_price] all from Samsung which also has a higher rating.

Quite Small Display Diagonal

Across all the tablets of this type and age the display diagonals range from 3.9" to 19". The Genesis Prime has a quite small display diagonal (only 7 inches) compared to most of the other tablets of a comparable type and age to the Genesis Prime.

We compared this tablet computer to all the other 7" tablets and we think because of it's better review score, the Kindle Fire[pl_1828229_price], and the Kindle Fire HD[pl_1828164_price] both from Amazon or the Intenso TAB 714[plb_1832223_price] is also worth considering.

If you want a tablet with a larger display diagonal then you might also want to consider the 4 M[pl_3051934_price] (7.85" and higher rated), or the SURFpad 3[pl_2662412_price] (7.85" and higher rated) both from Pocketbook or the Storex eZee Tab 785[plb_1992022_price] (7.85" and higher rated).
