Cnet.com said on expert review site CNET.com “The LT, or "Lite, " had the potential to be an even more affordable.” but despite that they gave it a rating of 3 stars. Three years ago expert website Pcmag.com scored this tablet 4 stars and mentioned in their Hisense Sero 7 review “Solid feature set make it an exceptional value”. Laptopmag.com said “This $149 Android slate (sold exclusively at Walmart) boasts some impressive specs for the price, including a 1280 x 800-pixel display” .

A few Hisense Sero 7 reviewers thought this tablet was a bargain for the price. Cnet.com said “Even considering its bargain price”. Three years ago expert review site Computershopper.com wrote “This bargain tablet delivers performance”. Expert website Techamuna.com mentioned “It's simply too good a deal to pass up” in their review.

Two people who purchased the Hisense Sero 7 concluded that it was cheap. Looking at the specs, the Hisense Sero 7 Pro is hard to beat for the money. It touts specs that are comparable to the Google Nexus 7 -- plus some features the Nexus doesn't have, like microSD...

At $99, this price-aggressive tablet is okay for kids or tablet first-timers, but it delivers merely passable performance and a mediocre 7-inch display. Also, the paltry 4GB of onboard storage...
