Some LG 40UB800 reviewers thought this TV was good at displaying high definition TV. David Nicolas said in his review of this TV “Need bigger screen to appreciate Ultra HD IMHO” yet he gave it a score of 60 out of 100. E. Glynn gave this TV a score of 5 stars and mentioned in their LG 40UB800 review on Amazon “I had a 32" Samsung full HDTV before and had no problems with it”. Jason Bagge said on Amazon “The picture quality on HD satellite is very good” in his review.
