The slowest high frequency rate of televisions of a comparable age and spec to this TV is 50Hz and the fastest is 1,600Hz. The 48L5435 has a fairly slow high frequency rate (only 50 hertz) compared to most of the other TVs that were released more than two years ago.
We compared all the other 50Hz refresh rate TVs to this TV and we think the 47L6453, and the 40L3453 both from Toshiba or the Funai 46FD753P which all of have better reviews are also worth considering.
If this television high frequency rate is too slow for you then you might want to look at the 48PFT4100 (60Hz and higher rated), or the 40PFT4100 (60Hz and higher rated) both from Philips or the Seiki SE50FO04 (60Hz and higher rated).
What does "high frequency rate" mean?
