Easy to Use

Five customers said in their reviews that it was easy to use. M. Bhangal said in their review “I prefer to use an upright for that” . S2b an Oap mentioned in her review of the AEG Jetmaxx last year “There are DIFFERENT heads to use however, so this is a case of try for yourself to your own requirements” . Totnes Nigel said in their review “It certainly is not heavy to use”.

Acceptable Noise Level

Some AEG Jetmaxx reviewers thought it was quiet. M. Bhangal said “It is *extremely* quiet, which has to be a big plus for anyone with skittish animals or people who don't like to be disturbed” in their review of the AEG Jetmaxx. In October last year S2b an Oap gave it a rating of 80 out of 100 and she mentioned in her review “This is a quiet, odourless cleaner”. S2b an Oap also wrote “It is definitely the quietest and transfers easily from carpet to hardwood to laminate”.

Good Size

A number of customers who reviewed it reckoned that it was compact. In October last year Mr Ghostface said in his review of the AEG Jetmaxx on Amazon “It's bigger than you might expect, I was expecting it to be more compact”. One AEG Jetmaxx reviewer who bought it reckoned that it was lightweight.

The weights of comparable spec vacuum cleaners that were released around the same time as the Jetmaxx range from 640g to 8.6kg, and the average weight is 5.4kg.

If you are not concerned about having a heavier weight then you might want to consider the AEG Vampyr CE PW24TRE+ (£126.98) (4.8kg), or the Thorne Electric U-40 (£132.05) (5.2kg) which is also cheaper.

Not Cordless

Most similar spec vacuums that came out around the same time as the Jetmaxx are not cordless. The Jetmaxx is no exception to this as it too is not cordless.

If you are looking for a vacuum cleaner that is cordless then you might want to consider the VAX Air Cordless Lift U85-ACLG-B, or the Bissell 37Y8E (£145.84).

Average Operating Radius

At 9 meters, the Jetmaxx has a pretty typical operating radius compared to most of the other vacuum cleaners of this type and age.

If this AEG vacuum operating radius is too small for you then you might want to consider the Samsung VC06H70 (£149.00) (10m and cheaper), the Bosch BGL3A330 (£147.81) (10m and cheaper), or the Zelmer ZVC355SP (£120.67) (10m and cheaper).
