3 Reasons For

Excellent Brand

On average Miele vacuums are rated 93%, which is in the top 1% of all vacuum brands that we have looked at.

Good Technical Features

One customer wrote in their reviews that it had good features. Two years ago Goodhousekeeping.com said “Special Features”.

Good Filter

One customer who reviewed it reckoned that it had a good filter. Goodhousekeeping.com wrote “Filter bag is easy to remove and replace” in their Miele S194 Electro review.

6 Reasons Against

Expert Reviews Are Poor

Vacuum cleaner expert review website goodhousekeeping.com scored this vacuum 60%. This means that experts are not that keen on this Miele vacuum.

Does Not Have a Brush Tool

The Miele S194 Electro does not have a brush tool, although this is within the context that most of the other similar spec vacuums that came out more than two years ago also do not have a brush tool.

We compared all the other vacuums which also have a brush tool to this vacuum and we think the C1433010[pl_1097321_price], or the C1660900[pl_1097323_price] both from Hoover or the Dirt Devil Hand Vac 2.0[plb_3042261_price] which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Difficult to Use

One customer who reviewed this vacuum cleaner considered that it was not easy to use. Goodhousekeeping.com wrote “Somewhat difficult to use under low furniture” in their Miele S194 Electro review and rated the product 3 stars.

Poor At Cleaning Pet Hair

One Miele S194 Electro reviewer who purchased it thought it was not good at cleaning pet hair. Goodhousekeeping.com said “It performed very poorly removing pet hair from a low-pile carpet”.

Not Good in Terms of Size

One customer reckoned that the product was not heavy and bulky. Goodhousekeeping.com mentioned two years ago “Heavy to carry up and down stairs” in their Miele S194 Electro review.

Not Cordless

Like most of the other vacuums that have been around for around the same time as the S194 Electro, the S194 Electro is not cordless.

Vacuum cleaners which are cordless that might be worth considering include the Koblenz DV-110 KG3[plb_2341400_price], the Dirt Devil Hand Vac 2.0[plb_3042261_price], or the Hoover UNP264P001[plb_3177326_price] which is also higher rated.
