Nice Design

One customer who reviewed this webcam concluded that it was luxurious. Expert website Howstuffworks.com said in their review “The Linears premium 1/2-HP Deluxe Garage Door Operator LSO50 is favored by many pro installers for its trouble-free operation”.

Does Not Have a Motion Detector

Most webcams of a similar type and age to the Deluxe do not have a motion detector. The HP Deluxe is no exception to this as it too does not have a motion detector.

We compared all the other webcams which also have a motion detector to this webcam and we think the Logitech C170 which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Feature Face Tracking

The HP Deluxe does not feature face tracking. Most of the other similar spec webcams that have been available for a comparable time to the Deluxe also do not feature face tracking.

It is worth also looking at alternative webcams which also feature face tracking including the Atlantis Land MagicView 985 HD, the Speed-Link Reflect, or the Mediatech MT4030K which also has a higher rating.

Not Mac Compatibility

Like most of the other webcams of this type and age, the HP Deluxe is not mac compatibility.

If you would prefer a webcam that is mac compatibility then you might also want to consider the Logitech C300, or the Creative Labs Live! Cam Connect HD which also has a higher rating.
